Dare I say, "perfect"! Spot on Rod, and choice use of the shallow DOF!
L glass in good hands is always a dangerous thing:-) - angioman

Lovely portrait Rod, and the narrow DOF works well as does the composition and the nice B&W conversion. Well done! :-) CJ

Thanks Tommy:-) Yes Laura seems sort of introspective to me & the missus, she's a really nice girl & after being Josh's partner for over nine years we still don't feel as though we know her that well. Strange init. She hates having her picy taken so I took these candid picys while she helped Josh wire up an acoustic guitar wiv a pickup. She liked the picys too & wants me to print some post card size ones up so she can send to relatives.

Introspective photos always leave me wondering about the circumstances or if this is indicative of the person's normal personality. It draws us in even if we never can know. Well done with focus on the eye we cannot really see. -tv

This is great Rod. The soft lighting, narrow DOF, and B&W conversion all work very well together. -COAmature

You're doing some wonderful work with your new camera and that L lens, Rod. This one has both softness and sharp details...very nice.

Thanks Penny, Jano & Aamm:-) Laura hates having her picy taken so it was just a matter of taking candid shots while she was busy helping Josh.

Another great shot Rod - The skin texture is so nice here with the light. Shadows and light fall perfectly. Lovely. It appears she could be thinking, saying a prayer, or just having a moment of peace. jano
