using a 580ex mounted on the hotshoe, and a second on the tripod mount. Subjects get lit head to toe very evenly, and virtually no shadows on faces even with a very short working distance. Since I was using a fisheye, the working distance is only about a foot.

I think that's how her face normally looks. Fisheye doesn't distort in the corners the way a 16mm rectilinear lens would.

I like the creative use of flash here! Although I am not sure I like what the 15mm did to the pretty face for the girl in green dress, but her friends face looks pretty normal for 15mm.
