This looks great now Tom! The processing really helps the lady and umbrella stand out from the background. CJ

This really works for me now Tommy as the lady & brolly look more surreal against the normal looking surroundings. The original way seemed more like a general oversaturated picy. The results now look intentional as being from an ahrtiiiiiist:-)
Me & your Missus win again:-)

For reasons I cannot fathom, I seem to have a taste for the garish especially strong colors (the missus says I always overdo it). The saturation here was the result of levels and brightness changes and it seems appropriately balanced. However, your eye is frequently better than mine and so I've reworked the shot and I think is works better to emphasize the redness of the umbrella. -tv

PS. I mean leave the brolly & the lady saturated. I haven't tried it so it may not work.

The point of view seems really good to me & the saturation which I don't normally like also works for this picy. The only spoiler for me is the overly saturated colours surrounding the brolly. I would de saturate them back to somewhere towards normal or wotever looks right & this would be perfect & creative for me.

Hmmm. I thought the topic was: Underside Illumination of Carefully Centered Red Umbrellas. I'm so easily distracted. -tv

Hmmm... red umbrella and taken by flash... other than that I don't see anything special here.
Am I missing something?
