Lydia, they are soooo cute! These will go to the goat pen soon. I'm glad they weren't there the day before yesterday, cuz its been cold and we've had 6" of snow from Thursday/Friday melting for the last couple of days.
Tommy, from one used-to-be urban "sophisticate" to another, yup, these are goat kids and until you've met 'em you've just been kidding around. The thought of "kid-skin" gloves makes me sick, ha!
Thanks for commenting y'all. Cheers, -mikey

This is how you mountain men make us urban sophisticates feel ignorant. Thank you for mentioning that they are goats. Now I feel wiser and less sophisticated. -tv

Nubians are adorable! We used to bottle-feed ours for the same reason... but they lived in the goat barn. *grin*
Nothing like those little babies sucking on your ear lobes! Good memories... and a good photo, Mikey. Thanks. ~Lydia

Thanks for commenting, y'all. We have these little kids around (2 does this time) once every couple of years and we bottle feed them for two months, so they really bond to humans. Ya can't help but fall in love with 'em. During the first two weeks we keep them in the house in a dog kennel/carrier box. Any longer than that and they're too wild/goat-fun loving. With the first kids we had years ago, we were surprised when at three weeks old, coming back into the house from an outing like the one you see in the pic,.when one bounced off a chair up onto the kitchen counter and skidded into the sink, dishes flying every which way!! It just stood in the sink wheeling its head around and baaaa-baaaaing. Just like human kids, the fun only last so long, then the work begins. Oh, yah, funny that I was taking pix of the kids and Marlice without a thought of the Challenge, ha! I didn't see the Y&B until I processed it. Thanks again for the kind words. Cheers, -mikey
