LOL... .as long as we're standing on his nose. *grin*
He's a tad bit cross-eyed, I fear. *smile* But, I love him. *grin again* ~Lydia

Thank you, Rod. That's extremely kind of you.
It's really not me... it's the model. He's a charmer. *grin* ~Lydia

Heading into the second week this picy stands the test of time & still looks good. How you made a great picy out of this is beyond me, maybe there's an artiiiiiist in that scrapbooking head of yours:-)

This picy needs bugger all done to it......Touch it Lydia & I might have to send someone around to slap yer wrists:-)

Hmmm... do you think it needs deeper blues or contrast then, Tom? What will solve this "sucking" problem? *slight smile of mirth* It looks totally different in day vs night on my monitor. Weird.

Thank you for your comments, dt and Carole! ~Lydia

On first take, I saw the yellow being sucked into the blue green. On second take it made me chuckle. Lydia, this plays with perceptual spatial relationships of the duck in relation to the picture plane. In visual terms, the current proportions make it seem to be receding into the picture plane and effectively adds tension as we feel the poor ducky is sinking. If you want to make it seem like a very good day, try cropping off some of the pool to control the amount of tension. All in all, very nicely executed. -tv

Very cute Lydia, almost cartoonish with the pastel colors and soft look! :-) CJ

I knew this was yours the moment I saw it! Very nice. dtallakson

Yup. You caught me, Doug. I made this up in my mind. It's not actually here. *grin* (many thanks) ~Lydia

Dang Lydia, it's almost like you anticipate the topic. So quick with what seem to be thought out shots. Nifty little duck shot here. Is it possible that it is photographed so well that it looks artificial? Good stuff. -COAmature

Awwww... *blush* Thanks, aam! You made my day.

LOL, Charlie. Tell. *grin*

Come on, Rod. WHO doesn't like a happy rubber duckie?!? *smile* ~Lydia
aam1234 25-Apr-2008 01:16
Indeed. And I'm awfully jealous.
Rod 24-Apr-2008 23:40
I hope Lydia doesn't turn silly shots into an ahrt form.......She's getting awfully close:-)

Our daughters are out on their own, so I couldn't steal their rubber duckies, and I'll not admit whether I have one of my own. LOL. I wouldn't be able to do this well, though, so I'll keep looking for some other prop to steal.
ctfchallenge24-Apr-2008 18:59
Debi, I stole this one out of my daughter's closet. Don't you have people you can steal from?? *grin* ~Lydia
ctfchallenge24-Apr-2008 18:52
It was just thought unlike Lydia I dont have unlimited props. I have to buy a duckie - Debi
aam1234 24-Apr-2008 17:24
Me too. Come one, Debi.
ctfchallenge24-Apr-2008 17:23
Fantastic colors, Lydia. I like the neon-like effect, the centered composition works fine here. Now I cannot wait to see Debi's shot too ;-) -Gerald

Thanks, aam. I was posting at the same time as you... didn't mean to be rude and not thank you. *smile* The frame, too? Bingo! Thanks much. ~Lydia
aam1234 24-Apr-2008 16:47
Btw, I like the frame too.
ctfchallenge24-Apr-2008 16:47
Oops. I'm sorry, Debi... *grin* It was the first thing that came to my/our mind. *grin again* You should post yours, too. I'm sure they'll be entirely different. Plus... maybe they'll fall in love and have little baby rubber duckies... . *smile*
The tilt is there on purpose... for manly tension so the guys will like such a "girlie photo". :) ~Lydia

The lady never ceases to impress. Very well done.

Just because we are one doesnt mean you can steal my ideas - good one - I just want it rotated a tad - but it may be only me -
