Thanks, gentlemen. I agree that the overcast sky made this work. It also made it hard to get enough light with them moving so fast. I'm still reliving the fun, though! ~Lydia

The sort of white background & the composition is wot gives this that special look. I don't think this would have worked so well wiv a nice blue sky. Hard to say really wivout seeing it.

Nice work Lydia! I think the overcast gives this a special kind of presentation almost like a studio set shot that cannot possibly be so. The neutral white bg leaves us with no distractions from the multitude of faces in the carriages of the coaster. -tv

Thanks. I have to admit that this one is my favorite... simply because it was so overcast and so far up there and they were going so fast... it was a challenge for my photography skills to capture it. I like the bright colors... it's just a good memory for me. My son is on the left on the second row. ~Lydia
