it would be great if the two ladies had cameras too!

I gazed right through the picture and found two ladies gazing right back at me. Intentional or not I like the effect. -COAmature

I agree, and the girls gaze brings you back to the subject in the foreground. - angioman

Thanks CJ, and thanks Angio for playing with the crop- I think I like how it is for my eye anyway :-)

Brent, I tried a tighter crop and put it in pending, but now I think I like the original better! - angioman

They must be practicing for the next Ninja movie! I bet you could hear those sticks from quite a ways away Brent. Good action shot! CJ

Sounds like a scene from an old Bond flick:) Nice one Brent! - Angioman

I've had the G9 for probably 6 months now and just don't use it much Rod. In fact I need to get more familiar with the controls (thought I was shooting this RAW instead of jpeg). It is easy to carry around, but I usually miss the control of a dSLR when I use it. Still, this didn't turn out so bad for a p&s camera in one hand and two dogs tugging on leashes in the other- I've got the "kids" for the weekend and we saw/heard this scene while walking around Greenlake :-)

I think the high contrast works well for this picy. Are you having fun wiv a new camera Brent? Hows it feel.
