Maybe it was the "Mambo" *grin* - angioman

You might be thinking of "Merengue". I didn't know much about the Marimba until my daughter started to play one and I had to learn how to assemble it. -tv

And I always thought Marimba was a dance ;) - angioman

The instrument is a marimba that you probably have heard in Carribean (like Harry Belafonte) and African music. But it has become mainstream in much pop music and classical composers have written concertos for the instrument. This is already a 25% crop. Much tighter and it turns to a grainy mush. Thanks. -tv

the blur of the sticks is fantastic! looks like tough lighting and white balance on the performer and wall. I wonder what a tight crop on just the her arms, the sticks and instrument (xylophone?) would look like, but my guess is the iso is too high and there is just not enough data. - angioman
