"Fruit or Vegetable"? Answer is here:http://www.askoxford.com/asktheexperts/faq/aboutother/tomato

There is irony all over this shot. For example, I wonder if the obituary above the question is for someone who died from eating eggplant? ;)

Too funny Brent! I think I want to go there where the most pressing issue of the day is what is my favorite vegetable! :-D CJ

Weighty mullings of Molokai. Sounds like my kind of place. -tv

Come on you guys, you don't like eggplant? It makes a great healthy alternative to a hunk of meat in a meal once in a while. I guess I knew the tomato was a fruit Lydia, but it didn't connect (good catching that) because it sure doesn't seem like one.

I'd rather take a dive than eat eggplant, myself. Good eye, Brent. Cheers, -mikey

LOL... and a tomato is a fruit anyway. Not sure about an eggplant. I try to stay away from them. *grin*
Funny irony, Brent. ~Lydia
