Thanks, glad you like it Rod. I got another chance to use my new 580EX II on this one- as a master. I used my old 420EX (hated only being able to control it with the camera menu) in the middle background aimed up at the white ceiling. I had the 580 mounted on the camera with a Fong Whaletail diffuser thingy. The Whaletail is an overpriced plastic gadget, but was very effective using the front lid as a catchlight to bring out the texture in the mat and the top lid to let more light hit the ceiling. With the output backed off by 2/3 on both units everything exposed nice and even with no glare. I think it is going to be handy having two flashes now, the 420 works great as a slave.

Great looking picy Brent, it just seems perfect. How did you use the flash to get this Brent? It certainly solved the reflections & gave the mat some highlights. Luv this picy.
Thanks girls :-) Funny a couple of you mention "good find". Everything needed was three feet away from me when I was standing at my coffee machine this morning wondering what the heck should I shoot? I use this as a cushy mat in front of my sink CJ. Getting the image right actually turned out to be a bit of a challenge because the shine on the floor created glare at first. The solution ended up being a slave flash shot, my first ever and it was a fun learning experience.
