I think I like bold, well done:-)

Here's a slightly bolder crop. I wonder if anyone will notice.

I think the light gives life to the picy & the shadow patterns movement. I don't think a picy like this needs a top:-)

This is very nice, I like the stark pattern & shadow. However, I like the one in Pending because of the cars. They seem to complete the scene, giving life & movement, as well as rounding out the top of the picture.

You're half right Penny I am older:-) I like it like this, & that's all that matters:-)

Rod - I was trying to stand up for the crop I had posted, but I think you may be right on this one. (I could say something about your being older and wiser, but I won't). The original is in pending, in case anyone wishes to comment.

BLAND DESIGN!!!!:-) Penny I think the cars stop the picy from being a great design shot. If it's not a design shot wot isit? The cars give it a snapshot appearance & they compete with the very good play on shadows below. You have a very good play of angles & shadows here, just scroll the picy up in your browser to just above the round knobs on the rail & that's the picy I'm seeing. And I like wot I'm seeing:-)

I could go either way with the cars Penny. It's a little more graphic without them (and the building on the left) but you get a sense of place with them. CJ

Don't listen to Rod while he is high on pain killers- the cars are good Penny :-)

I sort of like the cars - then it's not just some bland old design.
Anyone else care to comment?

This works better for me when the cars are cropped out. Nicely seen Penny.

Cool, Penny. What a vision you have... and an excellent processing of it. ~Lydia

Nice textures. The contrast really highlights the pavement and makes the sidewalk look almost like wood. Well done!
