Thanks for the comments. I think the tracks first led into the woods, with a second set of tracks leading back right on top of the first. Someone didn’t want to get their socks too wet. The deer tracks were not there the first night of our stay, so I re-took the shot the second night.

I tried a B&W version, but I think it lost the eeriness that the yellows provide.

I thought I commented on this earlier Charlie, I don't know what happened to it! Essentially I said I really liked it very much and while the tones look nice, I was curious as to how this would look in black and white too - did you try it? I like how it fades into darkness in the back like you're going into the deep dark woods. :-) CJ

A different approach on the subject. I can't tell which way those tracks are leading but they travel through the picture well. -COAmature

This was taken from a small balcony attached to my hotel room. There is a pathway light just out of the frame to the bottom left. I shot this in RAW, and decided not to adjust the white balance from the camera-original setting.

Some parts thereof are bigger than others. I think the glow well implies bigger bigger things than even just these woods of which they are a part. Nice take on this topic says I. -tv

My intent was that this was but a part of a larger woods, and the steps were leading you into them.

I'm a bit stumped on this one, no obvious focal point as the branches tend to break up viewing & following the tracks. So it must be on topic but I don't know why:-)
