I like this better but, although I hadn't gotten around to commenting, I do like the other one very much as well. They show character. This one kind of fits this challenge better and the warm colors really work together.

Ohh, you guys are good...responding so quickly with helpful comments while I was away from the computer. It was a toss-up between this and the other shot, so I asked my husband which one he preferred. I should have known better. LOL

I like this better too, the lighting and the floor give it contrast colors of the shoe/laces and floor complimenting each other.

I prefer this one, really nice. The floor and angles make it, the fairly even light, col and shadows falling on the floow, and the fade from sharp to OOF. Good graphics.This is like a poster, nicely divided in a upper and lower part, yet the shoe ties it all together, exiting on 1/3 from top and bottom. Good design - IMO :)

The is a great shot. I think I like this one a little better but both are very good.
