Hah, it was a challenge getting the Mini label level by myself James ;-) After much trial and error I figured out I could rotate the center cap any way I wanted with a little thumb pressure- doh! These particular alloys are actually aluminum painted a slightly lighter shade of silver than the car- which is probably making this look like an HDR shot though it isn't.

I'd like to know how long it took to get the Mini on the wheel perfectly horizontal. Great :-) Carrhighlander

Rod, the Yankees have different alloy, they like it chrome while the rest of the world like it normal. You will notice that with European cars in the US.

Very cool, Brent.

I'm home from a hot day at work & I'm feeling very grumpy. I'm really peed off wiv this picy because it's perfectly on topic:-) Even if we could see the whole wheel as long as there's enough car showing so it's not so obviously a wheel picy. But I think having part of the wheel missing adds a lot more to this picy even without the topic in mind. It's funny it must be the alloy wheels playing tricks with my eyes because in the car picy Mikey posted in Exhibition & your alloy wheels have a sort of HDR look yet the rest of the picy looks normal. Anyhow mate I really like this picy, well done.

Thanks all :-) Check it out- blue sky reflecting off the fender, in Seattle, in February!
Yes, I thought I was being clever hiding part of the wheel to stay on-topic, but we'll maybe see what the Master has to say about that matter. Hope he's already had his morning tea before he sees this ;-)

Maxi fun in the Mini eh Brent! Nice shot and it looks on-topic to me! :-) CJ

First I thought, "Uh-oh, Rod's going to say it's not on-topic because you showed the entire wheel," but then I noticed that part of the wheel is hidden by the fender. Very clever!
