Claire see how Britt has included part of the cats body which shows these legs to be a part of the body. (Only just but):-) The composition leads our eye to the body so it makes it work. So there's a fine line between on & off topic. If the composition didn't lead our eyes to the body this would be just a shot of the legs & off topic.
Anyhow nicely done Britt I really like the lighting in all three of your picys.
