camouflage

This is inspired by http://www.pbase.com/ctfchallenge/image/89823141.
I have learnt LOADS by recreating this.
For example, how easy it is to impress a 5 year old with your PP skills!

don't worry Neo, I used a bush rather than individual leaves. Different bush for body and hair...claire

Clever take on Sharon's photo. Great job cloning all those leaves! That must have taken forever.

I guess the idea of looking like you are covered in leaves has less appeal once you are over 5! As a learning experience of using layers this was a fun way of trying it out though...claire

Not sure I love the post processing, but the idea and image are definitely fun. What a cutie!

Good work, Clairet! I am flattered that you liked my image enough to want to imitate it. I love how you did his hair, he looks like a wood sprite! ~Sharon

surprisingly quick once you know what to do. Just pasted a new layer over body, made it opaque (as per recipe for the original!) and rubbed out the bits outside the area I wanted camouflaged.- claire

Like the effect but how long does that take?
