Nice detail and great that you got the food and water drops coming off the beak! Good shot! :-) CJ

Looks good from here. Terrific capture. This somehow makes such a nasty goose seem almost "human". -tv

Here's a compromise. I have difficulty in Photoshop removing blemishes and purple fringes sometimes and get carried away. I'll leave it as is and hope it works. ~Troy

sorry Troy but I prefer the one in pending! Still can't spot the purple fringing there but prefer the little glints on his wet beak and the glint in his eye. But hey what do I know! - claire

It is now updated. I put the original in pending. ~Troy

have you already updated this or are my eyes just not sharp enough to spot this fringing? Could you possibly put the one with fringing in pending if/when you update this so I can play spot the difference and learn what I'm looking for and how it can be corercted. thanks!! - claire

Thanks Mary Anne. I'll work on those spots and update. Lens is Canon Zoom EF 75-300mm.

Great close-up, Troy. I'd just try to get rid of the two spots of purple fringing around bright highlights near the eye and on the bill. BTW, which lens did you use for this?

Like the light on the feathers and water droplets. Like it more and more the more I look at it. Am just so impressed you have found more than one type of bird to photograph! - claire
