Thanks Claire. Mary Anne, thanks for your comments. I've reprocessed the image. I think I was able to save the colors and yet darken the birds. I think it is better. Thanks...d.tallakson
I love the light and composition here, but to my eye there don't seem to be any true blacks, just a haze overcovering the darkest tones. Have you tried increasing the contrast in order to introduce more black? I don't know if that will work, because when I try it, sometimes I lose the richness of the other colors. Those birds just need to be darker silhouettes.
