Ummm... probably not. But commercial 'birdseed' wallpaper would be cheaper than refilling this so often with the real stuff shown. :) The birdfeeder was here when we moved in... the post is about to rot through, so I think it will be time to start a search for a similar one. My Beloved hubby said he'd like to make a replica... but he's so busy, I doubt that will happen. Perhaps a new post and a new railing... ~Lydia

This could easily become a very long thread. I'm not convinced birdseed wallpapers would have a commercial potential. Chances are I'm simply denser than you :) Nice feeder anyway.. still taken with it. Has it got a history?

Oh Kiki, I didn't mean to 'rub anything in'... truly not. I'm sorry. I thought you meant your eyeglasses didn't allow you to see the birdseed. Sometimes I'm dense. ~Lydia

I'd rub it in too if I were you. But it was the "as if shot through a window" part I meant to withdraw. When I don't recognize birdseed in a feeder, I have a problem! Jeesh.. lol

LOL, Kiki. So... does this mean that I should forget about all the good things you've said about my prior photos. *grin* ~Lydia

That does it. I'll wash my eyeglasses!

Thanks, all. Kiki, the 'wallpaper' is birdseed. :) ~Lydia

A little grey, as if shot through a window, but this is a nice shot of an amazing bird - and not least a treasure of a birdfeeder! Looks antique. Is there some kind of "wallpaper" on the inner walls there? Most decorative.. a very stylish "prop" for bird pictures. The snow adds to it.

He certainly stands out! Nice work. I think a tight crop would have worked a little better. It's a little hard to say what the subject is here; the bird or the birdhouse. Still, a nice image. -- Bruce

Love how the red stands out in this picture. Good job, Lydia.

Yes that red sure looks good against the muted background. I wish we had birds this colorful in Seattle- I haven't seen any.

Love that red! I'd really like to get some shots of cardinals, they are so beautiful! :-) CJ

We've been here a year and a half, tv. Yesterday was the only snow we've seen. It was all gone by late this afternoon. Fun for the kids, and just long enough. :) ~Lydia

The red really stands out against the colorless background. I don't remember snow in Georgia during my winter at Ft Benning. -tv
