Thank you guys! Certainly appreciate the comments!!
LOL, no these are not glued, they are just stacked. I was able to get 2 more flat stones before it collapsed. And, yes the round egg shaped one gave in :)
Why did I call it Zen? Because...To me it represents finding a fleeting moment of peace and harmony in equilibrium with tension in a delicately balanced chaotic world. Tension never goes away. it just hides, thats all. Someone had defined "Peace" for me as follows: Its the quiet time between wars, go figure!
In-camera setting, is in exif. What is not mentioned in there is that I have used +2 contrast, +2 saturation and BW +green filter, handheld at 1/25, 64mm, underexposed by 1.33 stops than what camera suggested to tame the BHs, yet keep the grays alive. The set up is on a brick red coffee table with dark green wall as a background. Lit by a single 200W table lamp. The stones are about 1-2 inches in sizes.

Well done Cat, thank you for showing that a good B&W CAN be created in-camera. Nicely stacked.

Lovely - smooth and textured, round and flat - black and white with greys - Full of contrasts - Debi

Are you sure these aren't glued together - LOL! Not exactly a Zen image for me as there's a lot of tension in this - it looks like it's going to topple and I want to catch it! Great lighting and the B/W looks wonderful - what in-camera settings did you use? CJ

Or anti-Zen. I'm having a hard time being comfortable with the second white rock from the bottom. It seems to round to be in such an anchor position. Thus I feel like this is about to fall. But I sure like how you illuminated it. John
