3rd Place "Together Time" By Techo

I wish the top part was cropped down a bit, but got caught there. The 20D viewfinder doesn't show 100% of the scene. Something that needs to be conpensated for sometimes. Walking while taking pics doesn't give one much time to constantly look at the LCD.

Captivating and tells a story. Cat's view makes sense, but when you're allowed to crop, I'd get rid of that upper right corner. :) ~Lydia

The windows to the people give it an excellent composition of the size. Very nice.

This room is spectacular at all times of year!! And you can't (obviously) always see the building through the big tree.
I like your white on white effect.

Cat, thanks for putting it that way. It was an overcast day in the city that day. So the light was nice and soft. Wouldn't it be great to visit on a nice spring or summer day, and get the trees in bloom behind the subjects.

Yes! it's the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This room holds an egyptian exhibit. The whole Egyptian exhibit they had was absolutely wonderful. Didn't go through the whole museum. A great excuse for another visit. Had a few other shots to choose from to post here but liked this one best. If you go there, a wide lens is crucial and with IS if possible. Will post some other shots from the trip in the challenge forum thread.

Well Done! A great comp and would have worked finely for the previous challenge also :) I like the almost white buildings in the background!

I know you are cribbing about that top corner, but look at this way: without that little corner, viewers (people like me) would have gotten a false impression of the glass wall as its never ending and would have been a little confused about the architecture. Now at least we (I) know how tall, where it ends.
