Great detail on this one Troy. I could tell the cat was just yawning instead of being aggressive, but that open mouth adds lots of interest. Nice work.

Good picture - light and colors very good, imo. I keep noticing how the 300 series of Canons seem to have stronger anti-aliasing than the 20D. Works very well for non-pp shots. I think I'd have to do some noise-reduction to get it the overall surface as "slick" as this at iso400 with a 20D.

Good work Troy! Cute and intimidating at the same time. The little tilt works wonderfully here. The catchlight in the eyes of the cat are an added bonus! Another fine example of "why would one even bother about PP" for shots like this. :)

At first I thought "ferocious" from the exaggerated front paws and open mouth but now it seems more bedazzled in a cat-like way. The strong contrasty lighting and angle work well to the enhance the impact. -tv
