Well it seems the Capalaba Awk is one of the few birds on the planet capable of transmogrification. ;)

Oh, you guys are lousy detectives.. Rod is the only one photographing this rare bird, according to Google. Link below to another shot of it. Some suspected that was actually a Sardine Awk, but it turned out it was really a parrot.

Nicely taken. Not sure if so much open sky adds anything to the photo, but then again its hard to get these in the frame in the first place :)
