No Bright Spots or Spots of Light

Center focused... uneven background... Yet I think it works with this new image as it is not ordinary with sepia filter and contrast. I also like the tilt of the head with the band of light/dark at the top naturally alligned. jano

Yay! A Christmas miracle. Thanks for commenting Rod, Kelly and Lonnit. It's a new lens Rod so I have to get myself used to higher shutter speed w/o losing a lot of light. I must keep practicing to get the hang of it. But, you're right... :) jano

Hey Jano - Although it wasn't presented in your defense statement to our Royal Mum, one can't help but notice your brilliant and effective use of competing elements; vis-a-vis the three black dots (eyes and nose) and the numerous overlapping and nearly equal-sized white dots. - Kelly

Jano I notice the shutter speed is quite low for the focal length of your lens even though it does impart the classic soft focus of some portrait lenses. I don't think your lens has IS so you really need a speed over 100th to guarantee a sharp picy. The shot still looks very nice but.
