Thanks Penny, Armin & Tommy:-) In one way the windows looked great (especially after three beers) as there were great views of the sea but for this sort of shot it may be a distraction. I did crop to get rid of some of the window from the right but windows were all around. Yes Tommy this my son Josh & the guitar amp bottom left & is the sound box:-)

C'mon my friend, an electric guitar is not a box but a board. Your son? Any musician deserves attention; so it's about time. What works for me is the angle, the motion and the concentration of the musician. It makes me feel the music. In the 60's this would be poster quality art; maybe still in the 21st century but it's hard to appreciate on a computer screen. I'm gonna have to get a large (new) monitor snd super high-res graphics card to appreciate it. -tv

I love the window! It looks like shadows of the ladies from Sunday in the Park with George! And the tiny bit of blue is a perfect contrast to the red lighting.

Hm, would have loved not to have the window in the right corner...but still, great frozen action :o)

Nice shot Rod. The blur works well when he is on a downward swing so his face and hands are at the end of the exposure ... bet you have some others that didn't work as well as this one. Looks like 1/4 is about perfect. John

He must have been moving in rhythm. The trails are so smooth. This is why I want an SLR so little noise.- Debi
