Yes, they do make sense as a power-source, b.c., but where you have long rows of them all over the longest hill chain tops (as you find them in many areas here in Spain), they sure do no longer "add to the beauty of a landscape"; and environmentalists assure the noise coming from those huge wind-"mills" make a place no longer habitable for many a species--mainly birds--used to live there! **Change**, indeed, MauriceA: therefore I'll vote for your beautiful image (though I do miss in it some indication of movement of those huge blades). -- db.
nice shot. I hear some people don't like to see the landscape changed by these kind of windmills but I think they're quite beautiful, and make good sense as a power source too. we don't have them around here but I saw a lot of them in Europe this summer - b.c.
