Coney Island Boardwalk, NY

The Parachute Jump at Coney Island - a long-standing landmark,
which sits, undisturbed, as change surrounds it. This area is
slated for renovation, but this landmark will remain intact,
yet again.

it would be hard to touch such a significant landmark, even if everything around it gets redeveloped. I guess it will remain untouched for a long long time - b.c.
