Great shot, just love that reflection. A friend of ours found a few minutes of our wedding video. The kids watched it and asked who was dancing with mum!

Still as handsome as in the photo! Had to smile to get the wrinkles? lol good for you. :) jano

Thanks for the kind words. I had to smile to get those wrinkles/smile lines to stand out.

I guess I didn't need to overstate the obvious by hand holding the mirror above my head which would have saved a great deal of shots and the muscles in my arm. But this was about showing change. John

Another reminder of why photography is so important. Forever lasting time capsules. Nice touch with the mirror. -COAmature

Hey you're still young John; so keep enjoying it. You'll know you're old when your joints won't let you walk up the stairs comfortably any more. Nice shot. The G9 is doing you good service. -tv

We were married under an arch in the garden of the Riordan house in Flagstaff, Arizona ... Theresa was part of the Riordan family. The Riordan house was a double mansion made of Ponderosa Pine connected by a great hall that housed two brothers families ... lumber barons who helped found Flagstaff, Az around 1900. As some who have visited the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff is located 70 miles south of the south rim at 7000 feet and on the edge of the largest stand of Ponderosa Pine in the United States. As the last member that had direct ownership of the house died (3 years later), the house and few acres left was turned into a museum ... money to pay taxes was obtained by selling off land mostly to Northern Arizona University from which I met my wife and graduated BSEE (1 year later). I think I weighed 165 at 6 ft 3 in at my wedding 1978. Just prior, I had hair just past my shoulders. What I have now is a mind full of knowledge and experience ... I wouldn't trade any of that for physical youth but I know I would enjoy a little physical youth more than that guy. John
