Hello Lydia et al:

It is a new residential building here in NYC!

It is interesting due to a myriad of reasons:

- it is clad in all-glass! Yes, all glass. the vertical exterior columns as well as the horizontal elements surrounding the windows are all covered with the sinuous green glass! Judging from the silvery material under the columns and horizontal elements, it would seem likely that they are a steel frame clad in some silvery material, and then, the curved glass over THAT! Whew!

- it does look rather business-like; office building-like!

- it is an extremely costly building to live in! Surprise surprise!

- it is designed by Herzon & de Meuron. I believe that it may well be their first NYC commission.

- it IS creative, one must say. (Wait till you see the iron "gates" on the ground level! Gasp!)

- I like the perspective as well! ;) Thx!

- I thought that the "Leading Lines" topic and this picture sort of goes together ;)

*blush* Of course, it is... I never knew they were clear. How weird. ~Lydia

What in the world is that, Vincent? It looks like clear window frames... is it? How odd to have clear window frames. A very interesting shot... the perspective is really tops. ~Lydia
