Armin, you always turn in the artist's shots which are I like but never really understand why. I like that the shadow, the pages, and the pen all point to the same spot. Why this spot? I don't know. It's art ... Move on. I too like the grain in this shot. John

I think titles get in the way of shots like this because they add an element of confusion to an already puzzling personal expression. Or maybe I have to give it time and understand that "serene" refers not to the book or even the pen, but to the unseen character who abandoned the book as he slipped off to slumberland. -tv
