Waiting

Right after I took this he climbed up his web and got a fly that landed in his web.

Finally got around to taking everybody's advice. I found that another image I took did the best job of cropping as suggested. I hope everybody is okay with my replacing with a slightly different image. If not let me know and I'll move this to the end.

Thanks,
Ann

Ann, as soon as I saw this I gave up on trying to salvage my spider web shot ... yours is so much better. But now I see what others see, it is too symmetrical. If you only included a quarter with a little extra to include the spider then I think it plays right to the leading line topic. I shrunk my browser to have the spider at top left and it had great leading lines. John

Excellent bw, Ann. My head is having some trouble with some apparent gravity pulling the web to the left, or should this be rotated 90 deg. counterclockwise? -tv

My eyes also go straight to the middle. Then they circle all around and go right back to the middle. Tough call. -COAmature

This is a hard one as my eye goes straight to middle. I think if this was shot more side on it would work for this topic better rather than being just a line shot.
