Thanks Tom & John:-) The clone tool can be very tempting sometimes a:-)

A proper leading line shot. Now if you could just clone out those lamp posts since they are disrupting my view. :-) Nice capture of the color in the clouds. John

Nice clear shot, beautiful sea & sky colors.

Strange I found this picy in Exhibition.

Thanks all:-) I actually went down to Welly point to get a picy of King Island because when the tide is just right there's a narrow land bridge to the island for a great leading line & facing west for the sunset. The tide was right out so no land bridge. I then popped over to face the eastern side of the bay & got this. Lucky enough the clouds picked up a touch of colour from the sunset behind me.

Draws me right into the picture but not necessarily a subject. I think I might be catching on. -COAmature

Nice! Works for me. A text book shot!

Another excellent "Pier" shot. The palid ("red clouds in the morning, take warning") colors and gray horizon give the scene a feeling of impending doom, or at least a bad day. The asymetrical weight on the right and position of the pier make it list and twist (even without a tilt applied) down into the blackness. -tv

Almost like your classic sunset shot :-) (which I was expecting, BTW:) /Oved

Very nice Rod and its looks like a long non- busypier.
