Thanks for the comment, J.V. Glad you like the shot/don't like the shot. I'm not sure what I should do, sharpen, blur, desaturate or .... be more 'natural'? Actually, I didn't do much to this shot in PP. Skies (sunset behind cam) like this aren't that uncommon in CO just East of the Rockies. I cloned out a fence post that didn't go into the clouds and a bit of foliage on the far left, but OTW not much of anything. I couldn't sharpen it much cuz of the extreme contrast and the artifacts sharpening produced at the edges. Cheers, -mikey

First off, this is a good shot, and I really like the color and composition on this one. But... You seem to do something to your pictures that gives them a certain "look" that I'm not crazy about. I can usually spot your pictures before reading your name. I'm not sure if it is noise-reduction, smart-blur, sharpening, too much jpg compression, or a combination of those. I think a little bit more natural would be better.

Thanks for the comments, Rod, Tommy, Oved & Shu. Tommy - If you're looking to get some "nature" shots, it doesn't get much better than Colorado. Denver, is just a spread out big city with not many skyscrapers but the clouds don't care tho ":^). We're just East of the Rockies and the prevailing air movement is from the West, so the clouds are spectacular, plus the altitude helps; Denver is 5,280'. My house is at 7,450' and many of the peaks to the West are 14,000'. Shu - Thanks for the suggestion. I see what you mean. I didn't even notice that little bit over there. Thanks again for the kind words all, and your suggestion, Shu. I'll get after that ASAP. Cheers, -mikey

Beautiful colors! I would clone out the bit of a tree branch on the left-hand side, however. Wonderful to look at Michael. shu

Stunning Mikey. Your clouds never seem clichéed. Always uniquely found and presented. I heard there's a job opening in Denver.. maybe I should apply. -tv

Now that cloud does act as a leading line, nicely done Mikey.
