thanks guys. tv - I used the Transform tool* in Photoshop to square up the verticals a bit, although it didn't need much in this shot as the viewpoint was already fairly level (*select All, Transform, then Cmd(Alt?)drag)

Well done bw and pp. How did you square up the verticals? It makes the receding lines more effective passing deeper through the frames-within-a-frame. Eye-pleasing tonal range. -tv

thanks Rod. no it's not an HDR thingy, I'm waaay too lazy to try one of those!
just a bit of fiddling with levels and maybe a bit of highlight/shadow control in photoshop, then channel mix to b/w - b.c.
