Thanks all! So if you are ever in Baku looking to find sensitive sites make sure you carry a camera and the authorities will point them out to you!
This wasn't the first time by the way :) -mcbit
I like this. Love the juxtaposition of the round and square windows. This has lots of patterns which I really like. And an interesting story too. :) Ann C
It happened to me too - here in New York City - actually threatened with arrest if I pointed my camera again at a police car. I'm pretty sure they were out of line, but it still happened. A very uncomfortable feeling, right here in the new Bush bastion of democracy. Oh, nice pairing with angular tension. -tv
Gerry, maybe if they come looking you could show them this shot. After determining that there isn't a proper border (only one in their minds) they would go on about their business assuming that this shot wasn't a valid picture. ;-) John
Thanks mate! Tension and a PROPER triangle all in one post, can't be bad. :)
Still not as much tension as there was when I was accosted by two undercover cops and told that its "nilzya" forbidden to take photographs of government buildings. The the rest of the station no problem, just the building.
I told 'em I was very sorry and would delete them when I got home.... Waiting for the knock on the door... :) -mcbit
