The Argument

Plano, TX

The light was going to change -- looked in the rearview to see two people arguing -- picked up camera in the seat and snapped one without looking -- leaving everything to chance -- didn't want her to see what I was doing to provide further embarrassment.

Good one for the topic. I'm glad I'm not driving in Texas - people take pictures while driving and the guy behind you will rear-end you if he doesn't pay more attention to where he's going! :-) CJ

This was a virtually impossible exposure, although well cluttered with disjointed relationships, emotional and visual. We don't get much of the "argument" except a hint of a glint of his glasses turned away from the girl. -tv

You're right -- probably the reason I will move it to pending when I get another to fill its place. Heated part over and stewing/crying begins. At first I thought they were dancing to some music inside but then I saw her face. If I had a chance to force the focus onto her face then you would have seen her anguish. As it was the light had already turned and my turn to move was coming up -- I really debated whether I could even capture it -- I was close but no cigar. John

I don't get much sense of the argument but the picture is certainly busy and nicely on topic. Love the spontaneity of the shot! -mcbit

If I had time to take another shot ... but the light was changing. It is better now that I look at it that the girl/boy are out of focus because her face was in anguish with tears streaming down her cheek. John
