The exposure is perfect, helped get this excellent tones. Nice duotone 8)
I specfically like that it doesn't have much contrast. No real blacks or whites here.

Thats nice debi, I like the exposure and contrast in this B&W shot..

Again your suggestions have really helped. I had played with the contrast earlier but was having problems with some blown highlights on the bags. Suddenly the solution struck me today.

Tom - some road repairs are on here and the workers typically build these shanties and stay here for as long as the project is on. The they move to another site- Debi

Well done Debi - interesting elements and well composed. I agree with Tom about a bit more contrast to bring out the details of the scene. CJ

Right on topic and well composed with lots of edge interest. The ambiguity of the location is intriguing.. old construction site or shantytown or both? I think I'ld like to see more contrast, but maybe it's just my office monitor's calibration. Nicely done. -tv

I like this shot. I like the border on the left edge. The entire contents give a rough feel uncomfortable feel. Nice. John

Gawd Debi duotone is a posh word:-) I really like your composition here & a well thought out shot. Nicely done.
