tilted verticals normally bug me, but I think this works very well for the challenge in the way there are strong lines leading into the frame from the 3 corners, so I like it! plus I'm a sucker for a nice b/w photo :)

Nice Bruce! I wonder what this would have looked like without the tilt? You might have lost the one line going into the left upper corner but may have gained the right lines going into the upper left more. Great B&W too. CJ

This is the Flickr tilt gone mad:-) Nicely shot Bruce but watch out for neg space at the edges, top right corner.

John's comment below describes the primary problem. As it it, the "clutter" serves mostly as decoration on this stately building which as usual for Bruce is well photographed with beautiful tonal range and scintilating play of the wires, especially the light-catching near horizontals leading to the right edge and (critically) segmenting the sky. -tv

My first inclination was I wonder if I could climb the fire escape in this orientation -- maybe. It would enhance the "clutter" rating to crop into the building some from the right. I just don't see a crop at top without loosing some great features like the patios and arched windows, but leaving all the windows on the left straightens out the clutter you worked so hard to get on the front face. John
