like Tom, I had a similar idea but I'm waaaayy too slow to execute it. anyhow this pole is much more interesting than ones in my neighbourhood... I like the way the lines lead in from the corners and the nice lighting and interesting textures on the pole, and all the busy details. great exposure too. - b.c.

Thanks Carole, Doug & John:-) All the new areas are underground power now John, the politicians say they're leaving all the above ground power poles in for us photographers:-)

Brings back old memories Rod. Our land of the telephone pole went underground 30 years ago here in Dallas area. The intersections of major nodes were a sight to behold. I really like the splash of cloud and grain of wood. John
