Really impressive Lydia, the image quality in a shot like this, gives me even more reason to upgrade to a DSLR :(

The angle and framing along with the title give this a well used and almost sinister impact. A CSI shot capturing evidence of.. brrr.. blooood. Cringe. -tv

I too like the natural tones here. Funny title too :)
May I ask what ISO this was shot at? the 40D does a great job at higher iso's and with the 100mm macro I find need to shoot at, at least 1/100 when shooting handheld and getting macros this close up.

Thanks, Rod. The challenge states "Zoom in on the details that aren't easy to see with the naked eye or the little things that might get unnoticed." I have to say I never noticed those letters on my hose coupling. What's on yours?? *smile* ~Lydia
