Thanks, all. As you may imagine, reflected light abounds in NYC but is as fleeting as the sunset. I caught it just outside the entrance to where I work. Never noticed it before. -tv

Wish one person was there instead of two. Still excellent though.

classic!

Thanks everyone. Now let the truth be known: this is a crop. I find now that 99% of what I shoot is just not "right" when I have a chance to view it critically. Digital camera viewfinders are simply imferior to the old film cameras and I have major problems, especially in bright or dim light, and when viewing at angles since everything comes out tilted. So, cropping, I think, is honorable and necessary. Thanks again. -tv

This is a WAY classy shot, Tom. Well seen and very well shot. The shadows on the tiles are great; a pattern on a pattern. The people add just the touch of extra interest. Excellent! Cheers, -mikey

Actually Rod, I felt where you were going with this even since the last challenge when you referred to a "pattern" in the softball backstop picy. I was just resisting your supreme hostly authority. -tv

Terrific overlay of patterns Tom! The couple create a nice boundary for the patterns and a lot of interest too. This wouldn't be as interesting without them. CJ

Good work!

This is awesome Tommy & by the look of your three shots you fully understand my hopeless attempts at explaining the topic:-) The dappled light on the girl takes our eye onto the dappled lit wall & the bloke in dark tones adds a full stop. Luv this shot mate.

Good decision to throw in a couple pedestrians to add interest to the pattern. -COAmature
