Very nice. Love the colors, the composition & just the right amount of tilt. The PowerShots are good at letting you get some great shots. I hope you enjoy your G9, & not missing the 20D too much. I have my A710 IS with me all the time (that's why I don't get anything done).

very nice angle and pattern.

I think I would sell my clothes before I'd sell my cameras. (Easy to say I guess.) What a sacrifice. I hope things turn around. The G9 looks real good here so far. -tv

With the interesting angle and the nice pattern in the building I almost missed the subtle cloud reflection. -COAmature

Maybe I'll hold off until they get a P&S as you described! :-) CJ

Thanks CJ!

Ebayed most of it. Sold some locally. A few badly banged up bodies went to Second Rotation.

The G9 is okay, but not great. It handles well enough but is a little slow to focus and the dynamic range is quite slim. My ultimate P&S would be a Konica Minolta body with a Fuji sensor and Canon image processing. Ah well, they don't make that kinda machine do they? -- Bruce

Great shot from that G9 Bruce! You can see it's the photographer, not the camera, that's important for great looking shots! I'm thinking about getting a G9 as the quality of the P&S cameras is getting so good and I would prefer carrying one of those around in my handbag to my XT. Did you sell your stuff on ebay or Fred Miranda? CJ

Well that's a shame (I would have lent ya $5:-) looking at the standard of these shots you don't need a big rig Bruce.

Thanks Rod! Nah, I sold all my gear (needed the cash) and replaced all my "L" lenses and 20D with the G9. -- Bruce

Gweat work Bwuce this is really good & I even like the tilt which seems to make the lines more powerful in the shot. You're a bleeding P&S artiiiiiiist mate:-) I thought you had a Dslr!
