Thanks for your comments, y'all. The hexcell pattern is very common throughout nature and I was sure I could present it with this tiny daisy (the entire bloom including petals is less than 1 inch). CJ, no snow yet. We usually get our first "real" snow around Halloween. The champion snow storm since I've been out here in Black Forest was in '97, when we got 4 feet in 12 hours on Oct. 26!
