Thanks for the comments. I actually decided to increase the shadow effect by turning down the brightness. I wanted the chairs and the riders to be silhouetted against the sky.
Thanks in particular to tv for your suggestion. But I chose to leave the cable car in. To my eye, this view gives a sense of anxiety: for at least a brief moment, I am left to wonder how close the cable car will come to the chairs.
I love the detail and angle of the chains and I think the silhouettes work well with just enough color in the kids' hair to give them some identity. The cable car is in the way so I cloned it out - see pending. -tv
