I love that; "pearly white fluffiness"!!! ":^) Rod is quite correct, Tommy. This is from an infrared converted D30 (3.3 Mpixels) Note: EXIF values (no filters). The IR turns all green, esp. that which the sun is shining on, to white. It takes a custom WB, etc. In this shot, because there was sky showing, there no reason not to go to B&W. Mikey is our resident infrared artiiiiiiist Tommy, he had his old camera converted for infrared shots.

I haven't done much with digital BW filters yet, but this looks something like a green filter effect on Kodak BW film. But even with that, I don't quite get the pearly white fluffiness.. must be what a fairyland looks like. How much of this is accidental and how much deliberate. Nothnig wrong with accidental by the way. tv
