Even with the flaws, this catches the eye. The subject makes a case for aging beautifully if only we could all manage it. The exposure is moody, spot-on, and lovely to look at. -tv

My reaction to seeing this was that I liked the DOF. I was surprised to read the comments that people found the OOF areas distracting. I like it as is.

I'm with Barry, the out of focus area is distracting, a slightly larger f stop would take care of that.
Otherwise, interesting lighting & lovely shot.

This is a great looking bench RK! Good eye for spotting it! IMHO this shot would work better if both the front and back carvings were in focus.
