Thanks, Tom. Cheers, -mikey

This has to rate as the best "fire" picture. Nicely framed action shot offering some suspense to the uninitiated such as myself. -tv

Thanks for commenting, M.A. ";^) The lighting for this shot was subdued early morning... I did give it a twist of contrast, tho. Thanks again, -mikey

I agree, I like the action and the close up shot works really well.

I like the activity in this shot, Mikey, but the image seems sort of flat. Would you consider increasing the contrast?

Thanks, guys! I'll send the other one to Exhibition, for now. I've only had one ride in a HA balloon and it was amazing! I didn't expect the quiet. No wind, mostly sounds from the ground, dogs barking, etc. and an occasional blast of the flame. The only real action is landing. I guess that can be a bit hair-raising, but on the flight I took, it was a breeze ";^) Cheers, -mikey

I guess these guys need to know what they are doing eh? This does capture the heat best of the two pix- well done Mikey. Do you ever go up in these balloons?

I agree with Tom. The intensity of the flame is captured very well here. -COAmature

I really like this one Mikey! The contrast of the bright colors inside against the drab outside & matching cloths. Good job capturing the intensity of the moment, keeping this mammoth thing under control, before getting it up & away.
(A bit of a testosterone thing going on also? This ain't no 'girly' pic!)
