I would have called it Peach Fizz ;-)
Looks great with the bubbles Aam.

The bubbles are great - an ingenious way of adding interest to what could have been another clicheed subject, fruit. Your title suggests that they are all looking at us since they do look like fishy eyeballs. Did you prepare for the shot with the bubbles or do you always soak and wash your produce so thoroughly? Good idea either way. We should all follow your example. -tv

Well done Aamm this does look good mate:-)

Thanks Cat. WB is probably the first thing I do. It's really simple, take a pic of the white/gray card of things in that light, then use that for Raw processing.

Speaking of which, what's shown as white in the back is the rim of a white umbrella. Wanted to take a high-key photo here but guess it didn't work. Have to try again :)

Missed previous version(s). But I find this pretty delightful!
Aam, a suggestion: If this is taken with your new lights, you need to check the white balance (right color temp) for your lights.(nothing wrong with this photo) Use a 18% grey card and identify the correct temp of your lights and then compensate accordingly and stick to it. You will always get predictable results. If you use Adobe Camera Raw then you can also save that as a profile(5D+lights).

Thanks Kiki. I'll play with the channels and see what happens.
Btw, you can adjust individual channels in DPP. Try it it's really good program (the latest is v. 3)

Looking at it again, I like that spot :) But if you want to experiment: Try a slight increase of contrast in both the R and B channel. (I don't think you can do them individually in DPP.. at least I haven't figured out how.)

Silly thing - the blue was fine :) There's water there for heavens sake. I'd have *added* a wee bit contrast to the blue channel actually, rather than (in practical terms) the opposite.
I asked about individual channels also because the dark spot on the peach (or what it is), is in the red channel only. Tested a retouch of R, it turned out well. (Didn't save.)

Kiki, your comment made me re-edit the photo. You are right that there is a blue tint to it. Adjusted WB, does it look better now.

Thanks for the hint.

Thanks Doug and julie.Kiki, I use DPP for raw conversion and rarely use PSE for editing.

Bubbly fresh. You have a delightful sense for colors, and always a good presence of blue. Do the apps you use allow you to edit on the individual RGB channels?
