Brisbane River Oz

This is the best of a bad bunch that all suffered from camera shake wiv no tripod & camera sat on a railing. Which should have been OK but the river walk thingy I was on must move a bit from the water.

I've done (or rather tried to do) enough night shots to know how hard it is to get a good one and to me this is a very good one! Nice job!

Thanks Neo mate:-)

That is an amazing amount of color for a night shot. Despite the minor flaws I really like this one.

Rod, excellent detail under the circumstances. There's so much color buried in there. Why not let it out? See pending. -tv

Beautiful Rod! Love the reflections on the water.
So this is what your lighthouses look like at night. Hehe.

Time for a tripod mate.
Rod 09-Aug-2007 19:36
Thanks Carole, Aamm & Maurice:-) The camera was perched on a rail & I just held the strap so it wouldn't drop into the water. I had to sharpen this more than I normally do so don't look too close:-)

Your story made me smile :), its an amazing photo, the rich colours from the lights reflected on the water really add to the image.

Also, 25 seconds handheld? You are a brave man.
