tv, you are absolutely right. perspective disproportion because of the lower angle with the wheel in foreground does add "motion" to the shot. I do miss the swivel lcd of my old S1 IS time-to-time. Thanks for the comment tv. -Abstract

I bought an A630 just for angles like this because the first reaction seeing someone my age lying on the ground is to call an ambulance. I suspect that aside from "avoiding that building", this angle really makes the shot work. I like the way it fills the frame but still has a sense of movement and action. Very well executed. -tv

I had to completely lie on the ground in order to avoid that building in the background. as this bicycle statue is on a side-walk, next to a major street, it was fun to see people's reaction. anything for photography though, right? :) -Abstract
